Krishna Gade

Krishna is the Head of Data Engineering at Pinterest where his team mainly focuses on enabling data driven products and insights. His team works on all aspects of data including foundational data infrastructure for both batch and stream data, analytics pipelines to compute daily business metrics, a/b experimentation frameworks, and some user-facing data products. In the past Krishna was an early engineer at Twitter and Bing where he built a lot of consumer facing products and their backend infrastructure viz., Discovery, Typeahead, Personalized Search. He lives with a wife and a 4 year old daughter in the bay area and is an avid follower of the lean startup movement.
