John Stokes – MC

John has more than 15 years of experience, both as a founder and an investor, in start-ups and growth companies. Prior to arriving in Montreal in 2007, he spent 10 years in Asia Pacific where he was an active angel investor and entrepreneur principally in the mobile, media and internet sectors. He is a Founding Partner at Real Ventures and oversees their investments in companies such as Frank & Oak, Breather, Transit App, Flatbook, Sweet IQ and Crew. He is a passionate about starts, soccer and family.
