Want to be part of the team behind Canada’s largest startup and entrepreneurship event? We’re hiring. (Biz Dev, Marketing, Data/Tech Manager, Admin, Logistics, Project Management & more).

Startupfest is looking for new talented individuals to join our well-oiled machine. For those of you that aren’t familiar with us, Startupfest is going into it’s 8th year, bringing over 5000 people to Montreal every July for a 5 day gathering of the global tech community- festival style of course. Startupfest- the event- is a huge part of what we do, but what a lot of people don’t know is that Startupfest the brand is up to a whole lot more throughout the year than just our flagship event.

We run a variety of projects from the Elevator World Tour (elevator pitch competitions in some of the world’s hottest startup cities), to a tour of the regions of Quebec, and “Startup Experience”- giving international startups the opportunity to grow their company in Canada for three months.

Delivering the type of projects we do requires a fast-paced, creative team, one that learns fast, and can wear a variety of different hats at all times.


We’re growing at a rapid pace, and need an outstanding team at the helm with us. So here’s what we’re after in you:

Business Development. Partnerships + Growth: We’re after a sales-motivated, people person, to help us expand our partnerships, and grow on an international scale. See more details here. (Bilingual considered an asset).

Data Manager: We’re looking for an experienced data manager to oversee the development and use of data systems within our team. Read the full description here. (Bilingual considered an asset).

Digital Marketing + Growth: A marketing/social media/content creator is what we’re after. Responsible for developing and implementing new strategies to internationally grow our brand. Read more here. (Bilingual considered an asset).

Admin: We’re looking for a responsible, organized, administrative/office assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties include everything from providing support to the team to assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. Read more here.

Logistics Coordinator: We organize a very large, complex, outdoor event, and we’re looking for someone with very strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills to join the logistics team. Need to be able to excel under pressure! Read more here.


Startupfest is anything but the ordinary.

You’ll be exposed to a world of “no red tape”, with the busiest of busy times, and incredibly fun experiences in a flexible work environment.
