Brian Kang

Co-fondateur et Directeur Général, Nautilus Venture Partners

Mr. Kang brings to the firm 15 years of experience in venture capital investment and corporate development roles. He has extensive experience in all aspects of venturing practice and corporate strategy functions, including investment strategy formulation/ implementation, corporate strategy for new business creation, startup incubation, M&A analysis, and fund investment.

Prior to co-founding Nautilus Venture Partners, Mr. Kang was a managing director at Samsung Ventures, where he was responsible for the company’s mobile and consumer IT related investments. Mr. Kang led some of the best investments of Samsung Ventures, including Starent Networks (NASDAQ: STAR, acquired by Cisco), Gracenote (acquired by Sony), Beceem (acquired by Broadcom), Swype (acquired by Nuance), Synos (acquired by Veeco), Maluuba (acquired by Microsoft) and MindMeld (acquired by Cisco).

Brian Kang holds M.B.A from McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin, M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Washington, and B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from State University of New York at Buffalo.
