In 2000, Andrew Reid Founded Vision Critical and disrupted traditional market research through the launch of Vision Critical’s customer intelligence platform. Since then, Vision Critical has grown to become a pillar in the Vancouver technology space empowering hundreds of organizations to benefit from individual, secure, online communities. With Vision Critical’s platform, enterprises can continuously engage with customers for feedback to help drive actionable decisions.
Since creating Vision Critical, Andrew has pioneered a number of market research supporting tactics and solutions. In his early days, Andrew brought visual elements to surveying, which made the research process more dynamic and results more accurate. Later, he established technologies that would capture data over time, so that brands wouldn’t have to ask customers the same questions.
In December 2016 Andrew launched VC LABS to once again lead a transformation in the market research industry. VC LABS’ primary goal is to find new ways to engage with consumers beyond the constraints of the traditional survey delivered by email. VC LABS is in the process of launching a platform to build and deploy conversational surveys. Early stage clients include, The National Football league, Disney, and Vision Critical.
Andrew attended Vancouver Film School and completed Stanford University’s Business Executive Program. He was named one of Canada’s Top 40 under 40 in 2011, one of British Columbia’s top 40 under 40 in 2013, and is on the board of the BC Technology Association. Andrew is an active angel investor and is a passionate promoter of startups and the technology industry in his home base of Vancouver, Canada.
